Hi I'm Fabrizio an italian writers of dooyoo.it, this is my first opinion, please don't be bad with me!! ;-) The war of Napster was ended in june 2001 with an agreement caught up with the record houses that had denounced it for violation of the copyright. Aimster says it 'allows you to Find New Buddies and Share With Buddies'. In other words it is a version of Napster that uses a version of AOL's Instant messaging functionality - 'AIM' originally standing for 'AOL Instant Messenger'. The website is basically there just to answer some questions and point you towards the software downloads. For Windows, Aimster is 632 Kb, for Macs it is 518Kb, which is nice and small. Mac users will find Aimster particularly useful as they can't use Audiogalaxy, currently the best way to find and download mp3s.
