Disadvantages: It ended in the first few years it was running.

I remember this online opportunity quite well and how popular it was in the news during the first year in operation. Many of those who got in early definitely reap the rewards of their efforts and received thousands of dollars over several months of continuous sharing of the opportunity itself. Since it was free to join it attracted a lot of members who wanted a piece of the financial pie in the sky. I was one of them that made a few dollars in the form of a check that was sent out once a certain amount was made so I was definitely compensated for my time and efforts. Unfortunately, I was not amongst the many power recruiters that were making those thousands of dollars every month that passed by which was my own fault because I hated recruiting new members.

After a couple of years this opportunity faded into the wind and was soon classified as a Ponzi scheme because there were only one source of funds coming in to pay those active members their rewards and that was from companies and corporations purchasing advertisement packages in the form of banner impressions.

Today there is a new trend that has stemmed from this concept of making money over the Internet and that is paying members in the form of rebates on ad packages they purchased to exploit their business on a larger scale once the membership grew over a period of time. This would seem to fit the definition of a legitimate business opportunity to most folks but to the USA government it is still considered a Ponzi scheme.

In conclusion, AllAdvantage.com sparked a new generation of making money online and I will never forget it being the first of its kind when it went live online. You might say that it is a piece of history to be remembered by those who did well when it was pretty much the talk of the Internet. I hope that one day something will come along and we all can make a decent honest income from the very comfort of our homes with the support of the government, but I have better chances of winning the lottery in that ever happening in all honesty.
