Advantages: Get paid money for looking at banners

Disadvantages: Unstable, Don't get paid much, Some time not logged accurately, annoying.

When I first found out about alladvantage, I thought, why not. This was a mistake. First of all when you download the bar you have to enter your account details for it to remember. I actually pressed the wrong number for my account, only realising it seconds after I press OK and it won't let you change it again. So I had to uninstall the bar and re-install (had to download it again).

Then I get it working, you think after about an hour "I can live with this", but then after about 2 hours you get extermely annoyed by new banners loading, taking up extra bandwidth. Now after a few hours I thought that I would look to see how much I had earned, and realised to my disbelief that I had 3 minutes logged!. This apparently was because the green light that is on the bar has to be on. You might think OK, but if you have any other programs open over the top of Internet Explorer, then the light turns to red, which is a bit stupid, because sometimes I want to view the HTML source of a webpage, which opens notepd, which in turn turns off the damned green light.

There is also the fact that if you have 32mb ram like I do, the damn thing gets so unstable. Everything will freeze up on you when you only have 1 Internet Explorer window open. You look at the ctrl-alt-del menu, and alladvantage bar is not responding, so you close it down, open it up again, and it leaves behind a grey trail where the bar was.

Now from 25p per hour (which is hardly worth it for all the hastle) it has now apparently gone down to 7p per hour!, now this is ridiculous, even if it is free to use.

There are probably people out there who have got paid loads of money by this place, but to do so, you have to be online, watching that annoying little green light for at least 10 hours a day!. This might be a good idea if you having nothing to do whilst at work I suppose!.

But in my opinion, this scheme is horrible, and simply no worth it.
