Advantages: Cheques keep coming, fairly reliable

Disadvantages: Bad changes recently, are they in financial trouble?

I've been using AllAdvantage for nearly a year now and earnt nearly £1,000 so far. I used to recommend them unreserved as the ideal pay-as-you-surf company.

All this changed a couple of months ago.

A new viewbar was launched with nice new features but it continually crashed every machine I put it on for 3 weeks. Then the website was unaccessable for long periods of time, then account info was reset.

The next thing was an email describing the changes in earnings. Good news if you're in the UK, not so good everywhere else where either payments or number of hours were cut.

For me, the one thing that AllAdvantage had going for it was it was simple. You got $0.50 an hour for 25 hours, throughout the world. Now we have this difficult equation and I'm sure people in the US will not be bothered with 15 hours use when other companies are paying for a lot more.

To add insult to injury when I sent them an email with a query on referals they ignored my question and accused me of spamming. Three emails (and 4 months) later it's finally sorted out and they apologised, but it doesn't fill you with confidence.

Will I keep on using AllAdvantage? At the moment I will because they keep paying me, but I have heard rumours in the US that they are struggling finanically.

Here's my advice - keep using them, but don't give up your job or expect the cheques to keep coming. Make the most of it while you can!
