Good search engine, i'm impressed (altavista.com)

altavista.com is a search engine website.

Firstly to start off, for those of you that have been hiding under a rock all these years haha, what is a search engine? Well a search engine is a website that provides relevant results that the user requires when the user types in the search box what they are looking for, the search engine finds these results by ''crawling'' other websites.

Personally i really like altavista.com, it has a very simple layout it is very easy to use, it is not flashy and does not have too much on the homepage as i find yahoo! does. Most importantly that i should comment on about this search engine is that the results that are provided are great, relevent and always what you are looking for.

I found altavista.com 2 months ago now and i have never looked back, the great results has made me turn away from yahoo! and i now use altavista.com as my every day search engine, but i do also use google a lot too, it's very similer to google.

One the homepage you can see 3 tabs too, web, images and news so there is a better search for you. Also you can choose what languages to show the results in and choose from either USA searches or Worldwide searches.

This search engine gets 4 stars from me, it's good but not as good as google.

Summary: Give this a try!
