I have had many many dealings with Apple and their products over the years, all good, with the exception of when I chose not to buy through either one of their stores or their online shop. I am going to get this bad apple (excuse the pun) out of the way first. I purchased a MacBook through PC World, which I had problems with, they argued and argued, saying they could not repair it until it was 28 days old. Thanks to Dooyoo I was able to treat myself to an iPod touch, I have only ever had dealings with Apple on one other occasion and that was with their original iPod Nano, I didn't however use the site on that occasion. This time however I noticed that if I purchased my touch from the site rather than in store or from any other stockist I wouldn't be able to get free laser engraving on the back of the iPod.
