Advantages: great ideas
Disadvantages: none
Wow colour splatter splatter splatter red blue green pink yellow and you enter the site of art attack. The beginning is a flash version and the colour splats flash on your screen. You can click your mouse for a non flash version. If your child is epileptic it might be a good idea to switch the flash of ass it might induce a fit. Art attack is a childrens art programme that has been going for several years now. Art attack has a website, the program and the website are hosted by Neil Buchanon, in fact all the art ideas are his own.
I sometimes browse this site if I am out of artwork ideas for the children at work.
I find this site vibrant full of ideas and colour
There is a section called Art attacks with ideas from the last year’s programmes. I quite fancy the idea of a grab crab for the children to make for fathers day, it’s a crab like model with pegs for legs to peg important papers to so dad does not lose them on his desk. There are hints and tips about how to draw cartoon faces. Ideas from all the telivision programmes.
A meet Neil section telling you all about him.
Downloads, actually its just a signed picture of Neil You can print out the art ideas
Gallery, a gallery of childrens work that has been sent in just like you see on the tv
Information about a Competition
Some information of products you can buy
Information about some other C I T V programmes.
This website is easy for children to navigate. The art ideas are very good and most children should be able to do them they are fairy simple and the instructions good.
As I said I browse through this site sometimes to give me ideas for work I think any teacher , childcare worker or mum and dad would find this site useful.
Thanks for reading Mary Have fun with art and your child . a usefull site for the long holidays with a child and that never ending question mum / dad what can I do now

- 05/06/05 I didn't know he was still doing the show, the website sounds a lot better than the silly 'databursts' that used to follow programmes like this when I was young, wearing out the pause button for a shaky and incomprohensible image.
