Advantages: Easy to use, Company Directory & a search engine, High on practicality

Disadvantages: Doesnt phone the number for you!!!!

I work for a law firm and part of my job involves monotonous searching for company information, addresses, telephone numbers etc. Up to this present moment, my main source for this information has been via a great mountainous pile of yellow pages, along with the Yell.com website.

However, those days are now gone, and I will be quite happy to "bin the books" (giving me room in the office for something more useful like a kettle!!!) to use this website.

Not only do the search results provide the usual addresses and telephone numbers, but also where available provides web links and company information.

The site also provides a search engine, ehich although I didnt have time to explore very much, I couldnt help making a mental note of the fact that the results will be primarily UK, only providing others where UK is not available. This will also be of a great help to me, instead of trying to sift through the majority of US results which normally smother the first few results pages of the usual search engine facilities.

I initially added this site to my favourites, but since it has become my most used site, have now made it my home page!!!

For anyone reading this, is this web site actually owned by the yellow pages? Is it their gradual progression from the yell.com site?
