I came across Askwoof.com completely by accident whilst looking through the recent additions to dooyoo's database. I cant say I was expecting too much from the site as there seem to be millions of search engines out there now and I have yet to find one which comes even close to the performance of google.com...but I thought I'd have a look anyway out of curiosity. And I am pleased to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Askwoof suffers in my eyes by adding the 'ask' word in front of its name. I came across this search engine by mistake but it’s really good. The design of the site is very simple not complicated like some and boring like others. The green and blue work well together. The name of the site reminded me of askjeaves or askme.com I guess this is similar but it’s askwoof.com so you ask the dog and it will search the web for you. The search engine is one of the simplest I have ever seen and it’s a good one too. The results are good and its ability to search non text files like MP3 files is really good.
