Advantages: at the end of the day, nothing as no payments (from what I can tell) were ever issued

Disadvantages: we all were either duped or over suscribed it.

"Another one bites the dust", "and now, the end is near" - just two of the many cliches I have to describe this over ambitious (un)rewarding reward scheme that, like so many others, didn't have a clue how to finance, manage or even build a web site properly.

As soon as one reward scheme closes down or rips the users off, said users seek out another one. The last favourite for us all was "asrecby.co.uk" ,which pays for recommendations. Unlike opinion sites such dooyoo, asrecby is a "nice" site, so the bad companies such as Dixons and Time Computers wouldn't have a chance of being featured on it!

I had a number of reservations about this scheme, mainly that it seems likely to collapse before it gets a chance to get going, although this may well be in part down to users who want to make a few bob of all the schemes as opposed to those using the scheme for what it was meant for. Of course, there is the current situation of internet companies winding up the schemes altogether because they can't afford to run them anymore. asrecby still seems low key and in my circle, I am the only person who is aware of this one. In my neighbourhood, not many buisnesses are aware of it either. When a shop (for example) is submitted to asrecby, each one is followed up by either a look in the Yellow Pages or a phone call to verify each and everyone, which might proove an expensive thing to administer.

Not that I want it to fail as I am a member of it as well! The concept is a good one but will it succeed? All the high profile reward schemes are deep in sh*t creek - even beenz look like the next one to go and that was the most successful reward scheme of them all.

However, at the end of the day, cut your losses, folks, either they were clueless or it was all a scam by a market research company trying to make a few bob off us all. Give it a miss.

Summary:
