Worried about not being able to get hold of your favourite songs anymore from Napster? Well worry not here is another programme that will keep you happy in the search for your favourites.

www.audiogalaxy.com is the place to find MP3’s.
It is a lot easier to handle than Napster, as it is web based and not as large as Napster, once you download the small file you are off.

Once a member you can easily search for artists either by the method of users who share the same tastes as you or directly by keying in an artist or group or even the title.
Once you have done this you are presented with a page that lists them i.e. if you have just put in the artist name then you will get a list of every available song they have on them. Each song is only listed once instead of getting pages of just one title from hundreds of different users, and here you can check the availability of the song you want.
Once you have selected you can add as many songs as you wish to your download queue. Or if you are not sure you can play the song first before you download!

The good thing with this site is that you can select them and if you wish leave it and come back another day and do them, there is none of the frustration with Napster as anyone who uses it knows you sometimes sit for half an hour or more and then the user goes off line when you reach 90%!
Here you can always get the whole song and resume where you left off next time should the worst happen, so no more half finished songs!

But what is the main advantage of Audiogalaxy? Well apart from the resume download I mentioned, it is the speed! I have found Napster so slow and tiresome
especially if you dare to download two songs at once, It has taken me over an hour to get one song before.
Well no more, the direct download is fast and very efficient, I have downloaded a song in as little as 3 0r 4 minutes here and I only have a 56k modem! The longest so far has been around 10 minutes but I think that was more my connection that was slow than the actual site.
And I have yet failed to find anything yet that I have searched for, another thumbs up here, I really think that it is going to leave old Nappy standing especially with all the problems they have had and they are even going to charge to use it.
