Advantages: huge galaxy of music, easy to download
Disadvantages: not a great search
Audiogalaxy gets a lot of criticism from people, but really I find it easy to use and more secure than other placs where I recently got a virus and had my whole computer wrecked. It's quite simple to use this, what you do is go to www.downloads.com then search for audiogalaxy, download it and then you should have it. When this setup file is there click on it, install it on to your computer and then it will ask if you are a new or existing user. If you are existing type your name and password in and then let it run. Once you have entered details, you then chose a directory which will be the file you store music into, it can sometimes choose one for you. As soon as all of this is set up, you go to www.audiogalaxy.com and then you sign in and start to search for music. When searching it doesn't always have a good search because people spell names of singers wrong and titles differently. Sometimes if it is really bad use one word of the song and search the page suntil you find the song. When you find a song you want, you click on the satellite symbol beside it and it should go green which means it will be added on to your satellite download list. If the satellite symbol is red it means you need to open your satellite or you can't download. Once you add the song to the list it should be getting processed and it dowlnloads until it gets to 100%. You can cl;ick to add many songs to the list and they will all go in a queue. If net to the song on the search pages there is a square with a cross this means it has been stopped for downloading off the site for copyright purposes, but if it has nothing in the square and it is grey, the user is offline. if it has some green in it that means it is a bit available but if it is fully green it is very available. This is an easy way to download music, just open the satellite it will carry on where it finished. Once the files have been downloaded click on the
file you chose as your directory and the songs will be there, click on them and then play them it should all work fine.
