authenticforum.com is under investigation for manipulating ebay markets. they have been accused of claiming items are fake to have ebay remove listings (removing 'competition'). They have been accused of rigging online sales and bidding on each others' items to increase the selling price. Two separate photos of the same jeans were submitted to the 'owner' of authenticforum.com at two different times. One, she said they are definitely fakes, the next one, she said were authentic - the same exact item! The manufacturer of the product inspected them and issued a certificate of authenticity. This is one of my favourite forums and if like me you like designer clothes you have to check it out! Fundamentally it is a forum for lovers of designer jeans such as Rock & Republic, True Religion and Seven for all Mankind. But also has boards on handbags, shoes and other clothing such as Juicy Couture and Primp. The beauty of this forum is that you can go there post a picture from ebay and the lovely people there will authenticate it for you so you will know whether or not to go for it - ie if it is real or fake!
