Babycentre is a very trustworthy and sensible website with lots of interesting articles on pregnancy, birth and child care and development. I first signed up when I was pregnant and began receiving weekly emails with an update of the textbook development of my pregnancy and these continued until my baby was a year old, I think they've slowed down a bit since his first birthday but I do still get them. These are fairly short but interesting emails that I also sent to my partner as he found them more interesting than just reading a book. Being pregnant with my first baby but a grown up, educated, married woman I thought that I knew enough about pregnancy to get through it. It has a great resource and offers expert advice from Doctors, Midwives and other parents. The information on there is useful and varied. When my friend was pregnant she told be about babycentre.co.uk and how good it was. I first started using it when I was trying for my first baby. It is a very useful site taking you from preconception through to the toddler years and beyond. There are useful tools, such as an ovulation calculator (if you want and try and hit the jackpot quickly!), pregnancy calendar, and baby calendar.
