It sucks - Advantages: it has names - Disadvantages: rude to customers, very mean, horrible

Babynames.com was founded in April 1996 by a bunch of sisters. Since then it claims to be the best site on the web for finding a name. The site is very easy on the eye with a pale blue background and a list of menus to choose from. On the front page there is a name of the week you can vote for - do you like it or not? This week it is Chalsie - mmmmm errrrr No! There is a resident grandma who you can go to with questions (be careful she doesn?t take over though!) I found this one-day while randomly browsing some health web sites.it provides one of the most comprehensive listing of names of tomorrows youth. The site is good in that it provides the most popular girls an over the last couple of years. There are several extremely strange names as well as the old classics. The best thing about this site is that it provides links to several decent sites,well,as decent a site can get about baby names. Babynames.com is not the sort of website I would regularly visit as mine and my daughter’s baby making days are over ... well, mine are at least, and the grandkids are not yet old enough to be contemplating taking that massive step into the great unknown. However, a neighbour *is* due to give birth at any moment, and she asked me to a bit of research into baby names for her. I have just visited this site for the first time as my husband and I are having second thoughts on a middle name for our baby, which is due soon. It is really nicely set out, and you can search for names by meaning or by name. For a lot of the names it not only gives you the meaning of the name, but also the origin ie Welsh, Native American, Hebrew etc. There are lots of different names that are more unusual variations of common names and this makes it really good for anyone wanting a more unusual name for their child.
