Advantages: easy to play, daily play, easy to build up points

Disadvantages: hardly any chance of winning anything worthwhile, poor timescale for redemptions

Bananalotto.co.uk is an interesting site because on the surface it really seems as if you are getting something for nothing, but on closer inspection, that is not the case. I have been with them for over a year, and at first I thought to myself, hey, this is so easy, I must be a big winner within a very short space of time, but no....I still await that win! I built up my points to nearly 13,000 through doing 10 grids every day religiously, having put Bananalotto into my toolbar favourites so I would not miss out one single day, and yes, it takes only a few minutes to click on six numbers over 10 grids every day, and then a banner each after every grid so it is not difficult! You win points, and you build up these in your account but the clever bit is that you can redeem your points for lots of different quite interesting things. If you would like a banana pen, or a fridge magnet, or some desktop wallpaper or a calendar or maybe a book with some recipes in it or a DVD, then save up your points and redeem them. I decided to redeem mine for a £5 voucher, but you need 25,000 points to do this and I worked out at my present rate that it would take me over a year to do this, so it was not worth it, and my husband mentioned that I should try for some easier things. D'you know when you are frantically searching the place for a pen and you can't find one, well bananalotto pens are the answer....so I thought! I redeemed my points for only 3000 per pen, in July and I am still awaiting my flood of bananalotto pens to arrive in the post. It is not the strike, I think, but rather the speed at which they work at...I was told my goods would be sent out within 90 days but so far, not a bean, but to be fair the 90 days are not quite up, so I will report back if I get them! I hope so, otherwise all my hard work will be for nothing. I do feel, also, that there should be some greater chances to win, for example a £10 cheque, or some cash, but I hardly ever see many winners names on there who have won any larger amounts of money than a cheque for £10 - no millionaires like on the lottery site, so you could say its harder to win bananalotto than it is to win the national lottery, and they say the odds of winning that are 14 million to one - so how hard does it make it to win on bananalotto then??? One's mind boggles!!

Summary: On the surface a great site, but dig a little deeper...

I just wanted to add here that I received one of my bananalotto redemptions and it is tat!! A fridge magnet that is so thin it almost falls off the fridge and is so tiny it was almost not worth the postage used to send me it all the way from Belgium! Do not hold your breath or get too excited - and it took almost 90 days to the day to receive the item!!
