In my opinion the new Barbie MP3 players which are to be released sometime later this year are going to be one of the biggest sellers this Christmas. Not only is it a stylish music machine it’s also a doll and it links to the new Barbiegirls website. I’ve been fortunate enough to be given a Barbie Mp3 player in order to test it out and I think it’s fantastic. The music players are available in three styles, take the form of the company's new Barbie Girls pre-teen characters, and feature removable faceplates that allow the devices to double as customizable dolls. The 4.5-inch Barbie Girls device has 512 MB of onboard memory and an expandable miniSD slot ... Read the complete review

Any girl at all should love this website, whether they are a fan of Barbie or not. There are a range of fashion games, such as making over Barbie and dressing her up for different occasions. There are princess games, for example making her a dress to go to a ball in. You can watch Barbie TV, which is basically shots of different Barbies, but entertaining for a little girl I am sure. The homepage can be changed, with different colours and furniture, so the homepage can be adpated to your own taste. You can also join the website for free so that your child has their own area to visit and write their own little diary with stickers. Plus whenever they ... Read the complete review

When you first visit www.barbie.com a pop-up window will appear asking you if you want to visit the UK Barbie site (www.uk.barbie.com). So, I thought I'd visit the British one. The majority of the site is coloured purple and green. It's very bright and cheery, just what little (and big) girls loves. On the homepage there are different categories you can go to, each making a different sound when clicking on them. Click on Barbie herself, and you can have Fasion Fun. In this section, you can click on either Barbie, Christie, Kira or Teresa, and dress them up in different outfit. Any work you do throughout the site can be printed out for you ... My daughter is a little young for this site yet, at only 2 years of age, but as it was mentioned here on the dooyoo site, I thought I would check it out, to explore the potential of it's use for when she's older. I've noticed that in Woolworths, etcetera that there are a couple of Brabie CD-Roms available, retailing at around £19.99. After only briefly looking at this site, there's absolutely no point in buying the CD-Roms as there is enough on this site to keep your little darlings amused for months. However, as with all children's internet sites, unless you have a super-speedy internet connection, you have to wait a while for the ... Read the complete review
