I've had several free hosts for websites and Batcave is stupidly superior to all the others I've had.

The last one I had which I thought was pretty good had 5mb to play with, Batcave gives you 100mb for free. The user interface is way superior, the servers are faster and bulk more reliable. I have not had one problem trying to log on or update. As long as you're doing something, your session won't time out on you - even after hours in one session, but if you're idle for about half an hour, it may time out. It has never timed out on me while I have been building a page - which used to drive me nuts - even with no other activity for over an hour.

It's just totally hassle free, easy to use and there's stacks of space... just stacks of it.

Batcave supports Java so your links all work, your forms all work and your animations will work.

In short, it's just the sort of free host you'd offer your friends and if you want to upgrade to paid hosting, it's cheap and easy and the services are right up there.

Plus, and this is not really relevant to the service, a batcave domain name is easy to remember. http://chatrat.batcave.net as opposed to http://www.xyz.com/members/~la-de-da.index.html... . you know the ones.. or even http://www.xyz.com/yourname
