Created by Allan Fairley-Clarke Battrick is an online cricket management game similar to Hattrick.

After a shaky start for Battrick with the server not being able to cope with all the users, trouble's in the coding of the game's key features, it seemed that the website was not going to last, but due to the dedicated nature of its founder, the website has turned around and become the best online cricket management game available.

You start with a poor team and are given the challenge of gaining promotion in ny of your 3 league. You can do this buy promoting players from your training academy, clever use of the tranfer market and clever managing skills.

There are 7 different skills in Battrick: Stamina; Wicket Keeping; Batting; Concentration;Bowling; Consistency and fieding. Each skill is represented by a skill level ranging from worthless all the way up to elite. Because of this Battrick will keep you hooked as you try and improve your squad.

There are 4 different club competitions to keep your interest throughout. A classic one day competition with matches played every Friday in a 50 over per side format. A first class competition with each match lasting three days consisting of 2 innings per team. A twenty twenty competition consisting of short 20 over per side matches. Finally, there is a knockout cup tournament played in the OD style.

To make sure you always have a chance of winning, Battrick incorporates a level system to keep similarly skilled managers in the same leagues. There are 6 levels, with increasing amount of leagues in each, meaning promotion is always a possibility.

There is also the ability to join for paid membership, £15 a year which will seem more and more appealing as you become a more experienced player, membership offers vital statisitcs to help you see who is on form, or who performs particularly well on what type of wicket, giving you an arguable advantage over non-members. There is also the ability to create an alliance with your friends where you can arrange friendly matches and talk about anyting you wish.

With so little cricket games available on the internet, Battrick is a perfect website for any cricket lover.
