Advantages: Incredible depth, brilliant writing, great opportunities to learn

Disadvantages: Sometimes it lacks any real position due to its position as a British Institution

BBC.co.uk is an integral website for me, the news is generally very up to date, as you would expect from such a worldwide institution.

The website has huge depth allowing me to view news stories based on subject, region, anything really, there is a good search engine and the opportunity to learn too with things, such as the cookery or language sections.

The sports section is excellent with up to date news, reviews and live text on most sports, coverage of football and cricket is especially good and live text is informative and funny.

I really use this site to update myself and find the cookery section is excellent, you can view recipes based on chef, ingredients or anything you wish.

Another plus is the business section which during the current climate has proved useful reading Robert Peston's comments.

Overall, the site offers news, reviews, modern information from an ancient institution and some really useful things such as the cookery and language sections, an exceptionally deep website with potential to improve further.

Summary: The best thing the BBC does
