The BBC website is an excellent portal to many other sources of information that covers all of the BBC services as well as their news and sports output. The site itself is really well set out and is very easy to navigate, it has its own search engine for the site or you can search across the whole range of the google search engine.

I use the weather site a lot as you can get a five day forcast for any location, I have my home town of Northampton set as the default on the page but it is easy to change the location to London to check what the weather will be like over the next five days if I'm spending time in the city with work.

It is also one of the three main sites I use on the net to get up to the date news coveridge, it is also good for sport and entertainement as well. The lie streaming is particularly good and the site is updated on a regular basis.

From the site you can also access the BBC I-player which is great for catching up on shows that I have missed, in particular I use it to watch the current series of The Apprentice as I was not home for the first two episodes. I have had the odd problem with this application and do find that you have to be persistent with it.

I like the simplicity of the websites layout and the fact that the pages upload really quickly which makes it a joy to use.
