Once within the weather site you are able to perform a number of weather related activities including; weather news, climate change, UK warnings, UK forecasts and UK reviews. Like many British people I admit to having a bit of an obsession about the weather. One of my favourite sites has to be BBC.co.uk/weather. It is a site a visit several times a week as I find it not only really useful for telling me what the weather is going to do in my area, but also because it provides so much more fascinating information! BBC Weather has been going for a number of years and is available through the BBC website. It's easily accessible from both the main page and the news and sport pages as a click of a button. I find that it is a good service and has a number of benefits. Firstly, it's incredibly easy to use. You search by simply entering the postcode or the town that you are looking for and then it brings up the page showing the weather for the next five days. The fascination British people have with weather have, is proverbial. Having lived in mainland Europe for half of my life, I am not surprised that this is the case, since the weather in Uk is generally awful, plus it is also bound to change suddenly (generally from bad to worse) The website of BBC offers many interesting features and the section covering weather forecasts is one I check from time to time, primarily to check weather abroad (since I travel a fair bit) and the weather in UK when I either plan something for the weekend, or I have friends coming over.
