Advantages: A interesting time passer on the computer!

Disadvantages: Not safe for people under 13.

I have had bebo for quite a long time now and it is just so addictive. I have to go onto the interactive site at least once a day. Bebo is an online site that you can very happily join, since it is safe for people over the age of 13.

Once you have given just a few details, like what your name is, your age ect. you will be given a profile page. There on your profile, you can type what your favorite things are and all sorts of things. You can choose many backgrounds for your profile, which are called Skins. These skins are made by other members and even you can make some for yourself and other people to use on there profile as well. Bebo has many interactive things to offer, like applications you can add to your profile, which would be like games, or surveys about yourself that will be posted onto your blog.

On Bebo you can make you profile accessible to any member, or you can set your profile to be locked, so that people that aren't your friends cannot look at your pRofile (which is highly recommendable to people under the age of 16). On this site you can find people who you might know you know on there, if they are a member. You can add them to your profile and if they accept your request to be friends on the site, they will appear onto your friends list. Once they are on your friends list you and your friend can both look at you profile as much as they like.

Some of the other modules Bebo have automatically given you would be; Comments: Which is where people can send you a little message and then post it to your profile. White Board: Which is where people can draw something and then post a message with it as well to your profile. Video Box: Which is where you can add videos from Youtube to your profile, which will play whenever you or anybody else enters you profile and many more.

I would recommend this site to anyone over the age of 13 and people who like to spend time on the computer who like interacting with other people.
