Advantages: Easy to use, fast sign up

Disadvantages: Boring, out-dated

Bebo was the first ever social website I ever joined, way back in 2005 or 2006. I used it nearly everyday for a year or two until I realized that many people were leaving it to join bigger and better social websites such as MySpace and Facebook. I soon started to realize why. Bebo was fast becoming more and more boring with no new features and hardly and good ones to start with. I agree with the fact that yes, it is a good social networking site and has all the basics you need for one but that's all it is; basic.

It does give you the ability to connect with friends, see their profile, chat to them, see their pictures, videos, music, friends list, etc but it just is missing something that I just can't put my finger on. Also it isn't as well designed or laid out as sites like MySpace or Facebook.

Overall, I think Bebo is a good social networking site for people new to them, however, sites like MySpace and Facebook are set in my mind as the best there is.
