Advantages: Catching up with old friends

Disadvantages: Is a little slow regarding replies

I do have a bebo account. I only set it up last year mind you but i think it is a great social network site. I have caught up with all my old school friends and as some of them no longer live in my area i have got the chance to see pictures of them and their children.

There is a few disadvantages regarding Bebo. The first of these is that anyone can look at your page unless you make it private. If you make it private then to can pick and choose who is a friend and who can see your pictures.

Another disadvantage is that if you are still on your profile, you have to refresh the page to see if someone has written you a comment. When i had Yahoo Messanger, these popped up as soon as someone replied to you.

Advantages of the site is that you can post private mail so your message would just be between you and the person you wrote it to. It also has some fun apps to it like quizes etc.

I would recommend bebo, but only to the young adult sort of age group. It is no site for young people as they may not know how to make it private and you never know who might try and talk with them in this day and age.

Summary: Great to catch up with friends but not recommended for kids
