Advantages: Odds, Layout, Events, Markets, Offers

Disadvantages: Games are rigged (they are on every other bloody site)

So Betfair was the other day, now onto a more orthodox bookie, my back-up site if you will, Bet365 which sits beside my exchange bookie as a back up resource is by far the best online bookie. But why do I give it this high regard? Well read on dear reader, read on.

Bet 365 was the 4th online bookie I joined, (Coral was first as they had the better odds on the fight I originally wanted to bet one; Then PaddyPower tagged on at number 2 then Boylesport at 3), and almost immediately sat on top of the others for a few obvious reasons. Even the ones I've joined since (Extrabet and Skybet) don't seem to even get close to dislodging it's high position as the best online bookie.

Why bet365?
Well bet 365 offers more options than paddypower, on more events which was the first reason I fell for them, before finding out about the other options. I was told about cricket point things, where a player gets points for wickets, runs, catches and stumpings, it was this that attracted me to bet365 as no one else offered anything even similar. Then I realised that bet365 offered other markets no one else did, BIR (Bettin-in-Running) Boxing, Additional goal line (how many goals go in) and additional asian handicaps (1/2 ball handicaps) for football were also enticing.

So with these in mind I joined up swiftly not realising the bonus offers and the other things the site claims, such as Best odds SP for horse racing (something I don't really touch as I know sod all about horses) and accumulator bonuses (again don't touch them, theres a reason for them, your liability is much more in their favour). And a few other bits and bobs.

The bonus, which I've seen mentioned in one of the other reviews (that they admitted they didn't fully read) is quite a weird one, they will give you upto £125...but there are some quite odd terms. You need to make 5 bets over £5 to get 1 free bet equal to the lowest of the 5. You get 5 free bets this way, and can have upto a maximum of £25 in each one, which seems a bit silly compared with say Coral who give you £10 after you've staked £10.

With markets ranging from American Football and Australian Rules to Bandy ("Ice Ball" as I learnt yesterday) and Lacrosse, from Soccer (Football Damnit) to Badminton. Despite not showing results or tables, they do show in running scores, which are always useful, they also show cards, corners and how the goals were scored in certain games. These help partner the exchanges I use, which when you can find results so easily on the net using things like bbc.co.uk for football and rugby, cricinfo for cricket, boxrec for boxing the lack of past results isn't too much of a problem.

As good as the site is, there are still some "problems", such as the fact I keep losing (ok thats not a fault with the site), no option of spread bets (proper spread bets not the "range bets" that they do have) and there scores are sometimes out of time...though they do have radio broadcasts and "tv" broadcasts through their website of certain events which more than makes up for this.

Now onto the withdrawl/deposit system...simple to say the least, and they show where you've made deposits, whats in each one of your accounts (casino, poker, games and sport, though as I only do sports betting through them, I've delibrately not mentioned the others in this review). and a history of the bets you've made.

The site is like I've said, the best betting website on the net (maybe barring Betfair), so if you're a wee gambler, give it a shot. You'll stay there and drop your other sites.

Summary: Brilliant Betting for the Better Bettor
