Disadvantages: Could be more, Not too keen on the green!

Bette Davis is one of the worlds greatest actresses. She was born Ruth Davis on 05 April 1908 in Massachusetts, USA. When you first enter the site, you will be shown a list of films that will be aired in the month we're in different channels.

On the top of the page are the different categories to search through. There's an indepth biography about her life, from childhood to her death on 06 October '89. Under 'pictures', you can view lovely photos of Bette. By clicking on the photo, a new window will pop up.

Under 'movies' you can view films she's made. Click on 'VHS' or 'DVD', and you will be transported to amazon where you can buy the DVD or video. There's also a links page to related Bette Davis websites. Also, read quotes by Miss Davis - "Old age is no place for sissies". She's right there!

There's also an awards page where you can see all the awards she's won, along with ones she's been nominated for. Under 'news', read all the latest info, although the last article to be posted was in January '01! Also, there's a 'foundation' page, but it says 'Coming soon! Please check back!'.

The site is set out mainly in green, with a lovely looking young Bette sitting in a seat on the right hand side.

Well, it's a good site, but I think a lot more work could be done on it. For such a big star, the site seems very simplistic, but there you go. At least you get a good insight into her life, films, and upbringing.
