I have the misfortune to be with bigfoot as a premium member and have been for a number of years. Recently however their service has deteriorated to the level where i'm actively looking to close my account. I've noticed that not all emails get redirected to my current ISP email address. Also their webmail service has been down for over 2 ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on bigfoot.com

I agree - they used to be very good but now they are terrible. Although I pay for the forwarding service, much of my mail never reaches the accounts it is supposed to go to. After years of trying to contact them and poor service, I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion it is time to part company.

I have used Bigfoot for MANY years. They used to be really good. Now they are absolutely horrible!!! Any review prior to 2007 is worthless as they have done a 180 in service in the last couple years.

sorry, but i cant recommend this service to anyone. i signed up for a 'Premium' account a few months ago - my reasoning was that they had to provide a better service than some of the free email services out there, because i was paying them - how wrong i was! i don't want to start ranting, so i will just list some of the reasons i ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review bigfoot.com: It Was Too Good to Last (317 words)
by - written on 04/09/01 (Useful, 235 readings)
Rating:

The basic point of Bigfoot is that no matter how many times you change your ISP or email provider, you can always give people your Bigfoot address. Bigfoot then forwards the message to whatever email address you've told them. The best thing about Bigfoot is that it’s free to use, and they never attach any adverts to the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Stay in touch with Bigfoot (562 words)

Why bother with an email forwarding service? If you've ever changed your email address, you'll be aware of the hassle of informing all your contacts of the new address - and the number of people who seem to find it very hard to update their address books. Maybe there are some of them you'd rather avoid but most are probably people ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review bigfoot.com: NOT as FREE as it used to be (899 words)

I think Bigfoot is best described as an e-mail directory and e-mail forwarding service. It also provides some other features, but they have recently been moved into the 'Premium Services' category and you have to pay $19.95 / year for them. As it happens, they have changed so recently, that when I started writing this opinion I ...  Read the complete review

I have been using Bigfoot for years now, and my email comes through to Microsoft Outlook, via Freeserve. Thats because you can forward your mail to any other addresses! So no matter how many different ISP's you use, you can just change your forwarding email address. Also, they offer lots of 'little' services, i.e. You can ...  Read the complete review

I use bigfoot because I'm always changing ISPs and ending up with a new address. Using Bigfoot I always have one address which can be used to forward to that address, no matter how many ISPs I go to. It's also useful, because you can forward your mail to more than one address. I get mine forwarded to my e-mail address, and an ...  Read the complete review

When I first got online a few years ago, I came across Bigfoot fairly quickly... and decided it made sense - I'd sign up - and at least I had a nice address until they started charging. But they didn't!! It's still free, and it always will be (they guarantee it!) So how does it work? Well, you create an address such as ...  Read the complete review

I have used Bigfoot for 4 years since being on the internet. I have used Bigfoot since I've been online, and they've only made a mistake once. My father pays for my internet access, and ever since we've been online, he's had this obsession with changing ISP as quickly as he can. Without Bigfoot, I would have lost a lot of important mail. This is how it works: You get a ...  Read the complete review

During my time on the internet, I have had many different email accounts, many of them have major problems now and again. Since I found bigfoot this has helped things a lot. I now promote my @bigfoot.com address to everyone, which in turn, forwards to any existing email account. If the server goes down (where it is forwarding to), I simply log ...  Read the complete review

Bigfoot is a free email forwarding service based in the USA. It works almost instantly. Why would you want a forwarding service? Well, many UK ISPs askyou to fill in your personal details and then give you an email address with your name in it. That may not be ideal if you have an unusual name as there are a few weirdos out on the net. If ...  Read the complete review

Is Bigfoot reliable? What features does it have? I have been using Bigfoot for about three years for myself and my whole family. In reliability it has done pretty well.
