bing.comNewest Review: ... "IPod" in general, and not just a specific one. Then you would put in the word 'IPod' and then hit enter or the search button and you will find a search list not much different from what you would get if you used Google. It does have great additions though, mainly on the left hand side of the page. The first things that you will notice if you put in IPod, is on the left you get a ... more |

As a self confessed, EX IT nerd, I have always been pushed to use different search engines within my work. At college we were pushed to use many different search engines, and now even after I have left college, I make a point of trying different search engines every now and then just to 'give them a go'. I'm afraid however that Bing.com was not released until after I had left college and it wasn't until I started doing a lot of research at the beginning of August on my holiday that I really began to spend any time on Bing and really use it. Before I go into my opinion of Bing, I'm going to talk you through what Bing is and how it can help the regular user on ... Read the complete review

~~~ INTRODUCTION ~~~ I have had the same Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail account for years and without it I would be lost. It is linked with my Xbox 360 id, my MSN account and pretty much everywhere I appear online my presence is somehow linked with Microsoft ... I even use my Windows Live id to sign into a number of websites including Ciao !!! It was through my hotmail.co.uk email address that I first became aware of "Bing" early this summer when I noticed a new feature pop up within my Windows Live account ... the feature was simply called "Quick Add" and was powered by something called Bing. I went off to explore and ... Read the complete review
Doing a review on bing.com I thought it prudent in the beginning to have a comparative write-up of existing search engines but the practicality of my purpose is hardly feasible. Let's just have check of the best available search engines. This is what you get with a google search: 1) Ask. 2) Yahoo. 3) Alta vista. 4) MSN. 5) Bing. 6) Cuil. 7) Lycos. 8) Hotbot. 9) Crawller. 10) Dogplie. 11) 20 search. 12) All the web. 13) AOL seach. 14) Ebay. 15) Exite. 16) Gigablast. 17) Iwon. 18) Google. 19) Joeant. 20) Mamma. 21) Netscape. 22) Open directory. 23) Webcraler. 24) Wikipedia Of course not in that order, you just can not make a comparative study, they ... == Bing.com == == Introduction == Bing.com used to be the search engine for Windows Live search engine, and is the search engine for Microsoft, so isn't run by a 3rd party company like Yahoo or Google. It is a very new search engine, and so at the minute not many people use it, or are even aware of it. It was only unveiled on the 28th May 2009, so it is still within it's first year, the site only went out to the public for use, on the 3rd June 2009, yet, by August, Bing.com had pulled in 9.3% of the US population who use the internet! Which is quite a fete, considering the US is, well, quite large! Over in the UK, I must admit, I haven't heard much about ... Read the complete review
Windows Live in now Bing.com. The new homepage is totally different and a lot more interesting than the old Windows Live Search. It's slick and easy to use and provides a good selection of results, but it's more than a place to do a quick search. Windows Live is now Bing.com, a very useful search engine if you know how to use it. Search Bing Images at www.bing.com/images and you can refine your results by picture size, shape, aspect ratio, colour and style. So if, for example, you want a square picture of a dog, you can search specifically for that. It will also give you links to any related searches. What I like best about this is that it lets you ...
