Advantages: you can win?

Disadvantages: lacks that little something!, Very Slow

www.blartly.co.uk the supposedly instant win site, has been around for a while now, the idea is you check out the prizes on offer and at the click of your mouse it could be yours!.

~ ~ Firstly you will need to sign up, located in easy view on the home page, easy enough, simply enter your desired user name, password then your name, email and address details and that’s it, you can now go off and play!

~ ~ The Home page is very basic, it has what it needs but somehow there is something drastically lacking here, easy to navigate and the links and category’s are clearly displayed but somehow it seems very amateurish to me and just doesn’t appeal at all.

~ ~ Prizes, On the right hand side of the page you will see a list of category’s and here you will find the instant win prizes, these are:

Books & Magazines
Clothing & Fashion
Electronic Appliances
Computers
Gifts & Flowers
Food & Drink
Health & Beauty
Holidays & Travel
Home & Garden
Music, Video, DVD
Sport & Leisure
Tickets & Days Out
Toys & Games

There are some pretty good prizes up for grabs if you trawl through them all, such as holidays, DVD player ,mini system and lots more.
However not all the items in each are prizes, some are just to buy, and clicking on them links you to the appropriate site to purchase them.
This means that you need to trawl through lots of pages just to find the actual instant win items, which are dotted throughout.

~ ~ How To Win, well theoretically once you see something you fancy you just click it and wait. And wait…you are then presented with either a play station 2 advert or a Ladbrokes, and a message telling you to wait to see if you are a winner…after what seems like hours. No not that bad, a few minutes! , You get the inevitable “ I’m sorry you’re not a winner this time”. Yawn, however you can try a
gain for this prize in an hour’s time, well if your desperate or bored enough you can.

~ ~ Points, Every time you enter an instant win you receive one point, what for you ask?, well you trade them in for Amazon vouchers of course, well that’s if you get 50,000, and that gets you £5 to spend!, hmmm, perhaps I won’t get my hopes up on that one then.

~ ~ Extra Points, these are given for recommending people, however it does not tell you how many, which is very useful indeed not, maybe 2 points on a good day?

It also states that they are in the process of negotiating with others to offer extra ways of spending your points on other sites and reward schemes, but I could have sworn I saw this about a year ago, so don’t hold your breath!

~ ~ Top 40, also situated on the right is the current Top 40, here you can click and link through to 101CD.com and purchase any of these.

~ ~ Top 10, again more of blartlys recommended top sites, from phones to electricals, you can buy directly from this link.

~ ~ Links, there are lots more of these on the left, for mostly competition and gaming sites; these are probably a lot more entertaining than Blartly itself!

~ ~ Winners, Also situated left, you will find various winners comments and thank-you’s, one such quote boasts “ I have won 7 prizes in the last 8 weeks, thank you “..
WHAT? Excuse me but there are no winner names, no locations and no list of any kind anywhere as to what these so called winners won! so this I find a little bit unlikely.

So you can see I don’t have many positive things to say in blartly’s favour, I have been a few times I admit but only in sheer boredom or just to see what’s on offer.

The site itself is incredibly slow, and you just seem to know that every one you try to win will give you that same “sorry” message.

The concept of the site i
s excellent but it is very badly designed for appeal and speed of pages loading, it just screams dull and boring to you.
However maybe I am being too hard, maybe there are prizes to be won? Or maybe I am just fed up because I have never won anything, but this site sure don’t impress me much, unless you know any different?

nutadd - can you make it a bit more interesting by making it hard to find where you've copied it from.

Suggestion for next op

'Nutadd - the REAL story'

Ah, broksababe's opinion from a while back that you C&P this time. Good of you to spread the reads about!

It's also good of you to provide all this free entertainment of making a fool of yourself so that we can all laugh, but it is a bit sad, you know. You might think you're going to be able to get some money out of this, but we know that come tomorrow morning it will only take dooyoo a minute or two to delete your account.

Go on - do something useful with what's left of the day. See if you can find your common sense, for one thing.
