There is a very strong reason behind me writting this opinion and I hope it will make you all get on the telephone and start arrangind to give a donation and I don't mean your cash they want your BLOOD. Now when I had my little girl there were complications and I lost nearly all my blood and had it not been for all those kind hearted people who had taken a couple of hours to give blood I would not have been here or still be here to enjoy the wonders of being a mum. I was very upset to see that when the Planes hit the USA thousands of people were offering to give blood to the Americans and it was turned down by them because we may carry some horrid ...

I’m sure everyone has thought at some time or other about giving blood. Regularly there are campaigns, especially at times of low blood stocks, such as during holiday time, to try to persuade existing donors to make an extra effort. If this or other adverts have made you think about giving, you may have been very concerned about just what it involved.
