BlueBall is refreshing different from all the rest: no advertising at the site, no pop-up's or -under’s while surfing. No idea how they make money, but it's really true, no ads! The structure is really clear and navigation a snap. You can find tons of content there like reviews (links to Epinions), discount shopping, a huge mall, portal-like category sites, free email (love that one, absolutely unbothered by ads, no banners, no nothing!) and much more. First of all: "webvertising" sucks! Don't you hate it when they throw their pop-up's and -under's around like crazy? On my search to find a quiet place (and well behaving in terms of spamming and bothering ads) I ran into BlueBall (listed in Yahoo! Portal section, this is how I found them). I have to disagree with the other review here, maybe they had changed quite some stuff in the meantime too. Well, it's very blue. As directories go, this is much like anyhting else, with categories you can wander through and search facilities. That bit about writing opinions. It turns out that actually what happens is you can sign up for epinions through this site. All you do is tap into epinions, (See reviews on epinions if you want to know more about this.) Bit of a let down really, as I had hoped it might prove to be a new reviewing site. Ah well. Now, a word on the subject of submitting your url.
