Advantages: Free!

Disadvantages: Not the same quality, annoying txts every now and again

Blyk is a mobile phone network, but with one major difference, you get absolutely free calls, i mean FREE, not network subscriptions costs, or anything like that. Instead, you get adverts texted to your blyk number, which is used to pay for your credit. Each month, you get £15 of credit for free, which for me, is enough. If however you need or want to top up, then that option is available for you.
So, what does this mean? That means that in this economic problem we are in, you can save money off your mobile phone fees, by signing up to this network. What's more, is that they send you the sim, absolutely free of charge, and they send you all the needed download data to convert your mobile into the right settings (like the gprs, the networks and so on). The only thing that you need to make sure that you are eligable for blyk is to have a mobile phone with mms, (a picture messaging style thing, most phones have them these days)

But, obviously there are some disadvantages. Firstly, the organization of you getting your credit every month is not good, i've had my credit come 5 days late a couple of times! Also, the quality of the network does not really compete with the more expensive networks, although not by too much.

Another problem is that before, they use to give you 40 mins and 240 odd texts, but now cause of the recession, they made it £15 to save money. Finally, and this has only happened once, is that one time the entire blyk network went down. Luckily i as not outside the house when this happened, and i did not need to use my mobile, but i would say that blyk is not the most reliable network provider, although this has only happened once, so maybe i am just being paranoid!
I highly recommend this network to you, i have saved so much money, and i now send more texts on this network than i did on my O2 pay as you go network!

Summary: Highly recommended to save money
