Advantages: It's FREE

Disadvantages: Unless you use your phone a lot e.g. send over 200 texts monthly.Invite codes are often hard to find

Blyk = £15 free credit a month. It really is FREE for anyone living in the UK aged between 16- 24 with a colour screen phone able to send and receive MMS which is unlocked or on the orange network.

I like to compare blyk to those free newspapers you get delivered each week. You get to read the local news and its all for free as the paper is full with adverts and birthday greetings etc. and that's how they make their money.

Blyk is very similar to this: you fill in your details and interests on signing up and they send you adverts in the form of MMS, which is why you must have a phone able to receive these and a colour screen, and you just need to read these and reply every once in a while.

If your anything like me I do not use my phone a crazy amount and it would be silly for me to sign up to the contract offering unlimited texts and 200+ minutes as I would be wasting money. On average I can send just over 125 texts and call for around 20 minutes with the £15 a month I receive for FREE.

If you seem put off by receiving adverts constantly I can assure you I only receive one or two a week about topics such as films, TV series and music.

Also, if £15 doesn't seem to be enough for you they offer a top-up service which doubles your top-ups, so £5 = £10 and £10 = £20. The top-up credit is immediately added to your credit at that time and the extra £5 or £10 they give you is added on next month. This means the next month your £15 FREE credit is boosted by another £10 giving you £25 that month almost doubling your text and calls usage.

Use your FREE and top-up credit for:
Calls
Texts (MMS and SMS)
Web Browsing (£1 per MB)

There is only one downside that sometime invite codes are hard to find and get hold of. Just keep checking the Blyk website and sometimes they don't require an invite or find a mate who can offer you an invite code.

Thank You For Reading.

Summary: If your 16 - 24 I really recommend you get this.
