A great site for children and young adults.

My sister just set up this site, and I thought what better way to get the word out than to review it. It is basically an online book club for children and young adults. The site encourages people to read books, write reviews and generally discuss all sorts of literature. So for all the dooyooers who want to pass on the addiction to their children and also encourage them to read books this is a great site.

This review may be slightly biased in parts, but I would also be interested in other people reviewing it and getting feedback on the site.

It's free to join, you just have to click on the register button on the right hand side of the home page and enter an email address and a user name which you will be known by on the site. You have to be a member to post comments on the forums.

There are currently lots of freebies to win by reviewing books, and posting entries in the forums. There is also a facebook page and twitter page where you can gain extra entries into the draws for the books.

On the site. there are forums, to discuss favourite books, new authors, e.t.c. The forums have private message facility disabled for extra security as the site is aimed at youngsters. There are various topics already going, but it's very easy to add new ones.

There is a 'book of the month' page which lists books that are new that are coming out and will encourage young people to read and review these books. Plus there will also be interviews with authors about the books and members are invited to send any questions they wish to ask them.

There is also a page called "for little ones" which has reviews of books that are aimed at smaller children, and recommended books for small children posted by members.

The site is also linked to Amazon so you can buy books that you have read reviews on.

The site has a doodle function, which is also proving popular. This is a function again for members, which they can just doodle a picture using a computer programme a bit like paint from Microsoft, and it loads onto the site and the latest doodle is always on the home page.

I think this is a great site, I think for young adults who are into books it's a great way to encourage them to read even more and review the books they have read. I think the freebies are also a good incentive, I haven't met a child yet that doesn't like the chance to win free stuff.

I hope this review was interesting. If anyone has any questions feel free to send me a message or post a comment. Any feedback on the site would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks for reading.
