Advantages: Great if you like the music.

Disadvantages: Not for people who think Britney Spears is cutting edge.

For lovers of what used to be called industrial music (before the term was applied to outfits like Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and other left-field metal), then www.brainwashed.com is a must-see site. With sections on groups like Cabaret Voltaire, Coil, Ryoji Ikeda, the content is both varied, interesting to read and great to look at. As well as sections on the different outfits, there's also a webzine with lots of news and reviews.

The design is very reminiscent of old Cabaret Voltaire graphics. This is a site that is a real reminder of what 'industrial culture' was all about and what it's still about.

Well worth a visit.
