Newest Review: ... Unless you are actually a doctor etc there is no point selecting this option now as they will ask you about your practice details, registration numbers etc. Other than that they ask for basic demographic information and the more details that you give them, the more likely you’ll be to get a survey ---Rewards--- The most I have ever received from them is a cheque for $40. Surveys are sent out fairly sporadically and like buses none will come for ages and then two will come at once! Payment is by cheque sent by US mail. ---Advantages--- The surveys that I have received from the Brand Institute have always been well designed ... more

Premium Review brandinst.com: Whoop - more money for me (394 words)

Whoop – being opinionated finally pays out! When I first found out about the Brand Institute, it was through a friend whose boyfriend was taking her on holiday with the proceeds! To be fair he registered himself as a doctor and not a consumer and so was frequently being sent surveys about obscure drugs. However I went the honest route and registered as a consumer and I’ve had a few cheques now averaging about $20. ---Registration--- You’ll be asked to choose between registering as a doctor, pharmacist, nurse or consumer. Unless you are actually a doctor etc there is no point selecting this option now as they will ask you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review £50 For 20 Mins Of My Time (412 words)

I first heard about this site on Dooyou and signed up with it straight away. I then completely forgot about it as I never heard from them in months till January this year. They sent me an email telling me that they have a project for me to do. I had even forgotten what my password and username was. So I had to go to the site first and get my username and password. Once I got that sent to my email account, I then followed the link that was in the email they first sent. The questions they were asking were quite straight forward. Some company was looking for a catchy brand name for a new product. The sort of questions being asked were what sort ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review brandinst.com: A nice little earner! (692 words)

The Brand institute is a leading US company, which as the the name suggests comes up with brand names. I must admit I was a little bit sceptical when Assethound recommended this site to me. At the time I'd signed up for what seemed like a thousand and one paid survey sites and after giving out my personal information had yet to recieve a single survey from any of them. Assethound assured me that this site did actually send out surveys and invites to chat sessions as she'd just participated in one. The dollar signs appeared in my eyes and I quickly logged onto the site via the handy little link here on dooyoo. My first impression of the site, was one of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Money! No really, I'm serious! (246 words)

Yikes - can this be right? An online initiative that actually DOES pay you cash? I've been signed up to the Brandinstitute for something approaching a year now, and I've earned close to £100 - yep, that's right. You get paid, you GET PAID for each survey, generally about $20 to $30. This is a great way to earn a little extra cash. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of surveys on offer - I get one every other month I suppose, although there have been periods when I haven't heard from them at all. But they don't have a minimum cheque level, so if you do one survey paying just $10 then they'll send along a cheque for that amount. It's ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review brandinst.com: Chatting Up A Storm (1913 words)

This market research company actually does send me emails with offers of work. So far I have been sent emails regarding four BrandChats and two surveys. So far I have successfully participated in three chat sessions. There seems to be a pattern developing where I get invited to participate in a chat every two weeks. At $30 (approx. £20.02#) a month for about an hours work it isn't too bad. Due to the confidentiality agreement, I cannot go into detail on exactly what products the chats were about, but I can give you an overview of the operation of the Brand Institute from my experiences so far, and a flavour of what the chat sessions are like - which I ...  Read the complete review
