Brinkster is a great free web hosting company and runs very smoothly, a control panel that works insanely well too. The website it self is extremly functinal and well laid out. overall there a great company. But i feel if you start with Brinkster and your company grows youn need more webspace and you need more bandwidth. The problem comes in their packages when you can't select a package the GREATLY increases your services. The packages are so closely related you will find upgrading is a problem. Virtually all web designers will know what ASP is. Its a combination of programming languages thats not that difficult to learn, but can create things like auto news adders for websites so you dont have to spend time changing the HTML and uploading again. Biggest problem with making a site ASP is its virtually impossible to find a Free host. Well brinkster is the only ASP hosting service i know of that wont charge you or wont fill your site with stupid adds or popups. They just give you the space to make your site and well thats it :D. I have known of Brinkster for over two years now and signed up originally because they offer free ASP support for your website - without advertising! There are only a few companies offering this service however, most place adverts on your page - Brinkster doesn't! I used the free service to create my homepage and this wasn't too bad most of the time. As it's a free service they tend to asign more users to a particular server than is recommended (apparently!), which makes the pages slightly unreliable and slow. But it is free. As a budding young web designer myself, I find that a free reliable host that allows me to implement pages with advanced features very difficult to find. But through a community I am a member of I was directed to this brilliant site called Brinkster. It turns out that Brinkster are a free web host - that allow ASP and ASP+ development!
