Advantages: terrible service, irritating BT engineers
Disadvantages: free evening and weekend
Well, for £10 a month you'd frankly expect better service than this. BT are a big company with quite a large ISP section. Yet they still have besic problems.
In the past week I have had mail problems (mail hanging), news server problems (no new messages - twice), extremely slow or even inactive connections, problems opening websites, etc. This is just an average week in the life of a BT suscriber.

It seems BT doesn't give a damn for its customers.
On the plus side, you get 6-12pm and all weekend free connection. But this is not much good if the service is poor. I believe that in a recent survey BT finished last out of 50. The only reason I haven't left is that I can't be bothered to change my email address. If only, like landlines or mobile phones, you can take your 'number' with you...
