CASHACTIVE did look like it was a highly promising site a few months ago. I rather stumbled across it and found it very profesional looking, had good stats and there were several ways of earning money on the site. Sad to say, it has recently gone the way of many others in recent weeks/months. Word has it that the owner closed up shop along with two other sites he operated and made a 'dash with the cash'. CASHACTIVE is one of those programs that you come across and think - why havent I found this before? Its a 'paid to' site, but with a difference. Basically a paid to search with 'active points' given for each page you view. You also get 'fun points' for signing up, which you are able to use on the site's games. There is a 'slot machine' type game which you can gamble your fun points (which you earn more of for your referals too) to convert to 'actives'. Its the active points that you can trade for cash or rewards. I've just made this sound far more complicated than it is, haven't I? It is a very good looking ...

Update 14th January at end of original op. I signed up to CashActive a few months ago when they were in pre-launch phase and waited for them to start not knowing if they ever would. Just over a month ago I received an e-mail saying that they had now launched. The first surprise was that there was no Advert Bar to download, it was all taken care of by logging in to the site. Unfortunately the speed of the login seemed to vary depending on when you logged on but as this could be affected by my own computer it would be unfair to offer this as more than an observation.
