Disadvantages: I had to pay the price of next day delivery when sending the cheque back!

I sent Cashmygold a bag of old jewellery, some of which was broken but one piece was a heavy gold chain in perfect condition but not something I wore any more, I received the cheque within 2 days for £43! I had no idea how much my gold was worth but knew the gold necklace would be worth more than that on it's own so I rang and asked for my gold back and they immediately upped the offer to 60 something pounds, I declined and said I'd still like my gold back so I sent the cheque back paying for next day delivery. When I didn't receive my gold after a week I rang again and this time they upped the offer to 90 pounds, again I declined as by this point I had realised they must be dodgy in the first place. I finally received my gold back and took it to a local Jewellers and they paid me £162 for the necklace and £30 for the rest of the gold. With this in mind I would definately warn anyone against using this service!

Summary: A total waste of mine and their time!
