cashsurfers.comNewest Review: ... you need a lot of people before you get anything reasonable. At the moment you need to accumulate $40 before any checks are sent to international (i.e. non-US) residents, so I am a long way from it yet. The way you make money is by earning points by using the Cash bar. Every time the ads change on the bar you get 10 points. At the end of every month the points from the bar, deals and referrals get totted up and around 3 months later a pay rate is decided after an audit and you see how much money you have earned. If you have enough a check is sent. Payment is usually in a check, but also Pay Pal, which is an online bank account, so give you c... more |

Cash Surfers is another of the many 'free-money' programs running on the web at the moment, using a 'cash bar' that shows you adverts on the bottom of the screen. In theory it seams a great idea, the companies pay Cash Surfers to show their ads, and us users earn a bit of money. So is everyone happy? Well not quite. The pay rates are really poor, as low as 4 cents an hour and still decreasing. After nearly a year of surfing with them I have earned $210. The referral system is not anything to write home about, you can have unlimited referrals, but the rate from each is so bad, you need a lot of people before you get anything reasonable. At the ... This is a 'get paid to surf' program. For those who are not familiar with these things, they involve having a bar on your desktop that displays banner ads while you are online. You then get paid based on the amount of time you spend using the bar. Cashsurfers was one of the first of these programs created. When they started, advertising revenues were high, as many companies saw Internet advertising as a new way to get new customers. Now, however, the hype is over, and everyone has realised the truth: banners don't work. Let's face it, who among us has ever clicked a banner? As a result, advertisers are paying less and less, until we get to our ... Read the complete review

There are some things you shouldn’t do: one: “Don’t stare at a computer screen too long and close”. Not only is it to avoid eye-strain BUT of course, it fatally restricts affects your field of vision and two: “Join fly-by-night pay-as-you-surf schemes”. Sometimes, you wonder why you bother with such things....AllAdvantage being the primary example here (surprisingly no news or updates on other sites regarding many subscribers who want to roast them alive). Cashsurfers, until recently was a very well-regarded system, always on the fringes of respectability BUT inevitably it’s dragging it’s own heels towards a ... Read the complete review

For those of you that know me you will know that I am keen on the pay to surf industry. This is essentially money for doing no more than what you are doing now using your computer on the net. You will also know that recently several of these net companies have folded and that the future is not at all rosy for several companies. One of the first get paid to use your computer companies was cashsurfers and this needs to be revisited as a reliable if not low paying company. They will pay you by check for using your computer for 4 hours a day. In the face of companies folding the rate of 10p an hour certainly has a new gloss to it. This company has been ...
