I recently got involved through a friend in BBC's Celebdaq game. Located at http://bbc.co.uk/celebdaq it is free to register and play. Basically it involves trading shares in celebrities. On joining you are given 10,000 virtual pounds to trade with. The celebrities share prices move up and down relative to how many people buy and sell shares in them. Another factor in this is their dividend payment which is based directly upon how much press coverage they received in the trading week. The league placings are based on percentage increase over the last 7 days, top traders sometimes gain in excess of 3,000% in that period. There are two ways to play the game ...

Celebdaq is a Celebrity Stock exchange sit run by the BBC. The object is to amass as much money as you can by predicting which Celebs will make the headlines and grab the news. The reasons they make the newspapers or news is not important just the fact that they do. Sounds easy doesn't it. You start of with a budget of 10000.
