Advantages: Watch what you want when you want

Disadvantages: I'm not aware of any

I'm not the best with time-keeping; and so inevitably, I'm continuously missing my favourite programmes. In the past when I missed a weeks episode, I tended to lose track of the series and had to buy the box set to work out exactly where we were, before the start of the new season! God bless whoever had the sense at channel 4, to bring to the table 4OD.
Suddenly when I miss an episode o the inbetweeners, Big Bang theory or desperate housewives I can catch up with it as and when it suits me. For those who live in a different world, 4OD allows you to watch all aired epsiodes of a channel 4 programme, usually the day after they were shown.
The site is self-explanatory, ergo very user friendly, and involves just one quick download (unless your computer doesn't have the requirements to run 4od, then you may need to make a couple more downloads). Once all those formality's are complete, you're able to gain 24 hour access to your favourite missed programmes. The site usually runs quickly for me, and very rarely does the episode not run smoothly.
This is a high-quality and yet oh so simple service that channel 4 are offering.
