Advantages: lots of variety, efficient service

Disadvantages: hard to browse in places, pictures don't all load

I found this site while searching for a Noddy T-shirt. I'd been looking for hours, and was getting tired and fed up of the whole thing.

However, my hopes began to rise as soon as I entered this site.

Unlike other merchandise shops, Character Warehouse has an extremely wide range of products. Other shops only featured one character, or only stocked a few types of merchandise.


There are three ways to look for merchandise.

1. Browsing by character.
This option allows you to pick a character, and view related merchandise. Here, the wide range of characters becomes apparent - they have absolutely everyone!
However this section features a flaw - when you've picked your character you are presented with a list of types of merchandise, eg clothing. To see what there is, you have to click on whichever type you feel like seeing. Unfortunatly, you are given all types to visit, regardless if there is any of that type of merchandise featuring your chosen character. This means, if you're unsure as to what you want, you could be trawling through loads of dead end pages.

2. Browsing by category.
This allows you to choose what type of merchandise you want. Again, there is a wide range, they have categories from Arts and Crafts to Videos. Chosing a category provides you with a list of merchandise in that category.

3. Browsing by price.
Here you can choose your price range, and see all items available. Again, this is sorted into categories, so features the same problem as browsing by character.


Once you have selected the specifications of merchandise that you wish to view, you are presented with a list of items. Each page has 10 items on it, and arrows at the top and bottom allow you to move through and see all items.

To see a larger picture, you simply have to click on the small picture. There are sometimes no pictures, which is annoying, and often the pictures won't
load. If the small pictures don't load, still try the big one - it sometimes works :)


Having spend a ages mavelling at the wonderous produce featured here, I managed to make my choices:
-A pair of Noddy Pyjamas (no t-shirts, but the pyjama top will do), priced at a very reasonable £6.99. They only went up to size 5-6, which was a bit of a risk (I'm 16!!!), but they fitted :)
-A beautifully pink Lady Penelope watch, priced at £12.99
-A Noddy PVC rucksack, at an excellent price of £5.25.

I ordered through their secure server, paid the postage (a flat rate of £3.99), and waited.

Soon after this, I recieved an email to confirm that my order was being processed, and would be with me within 7-14 working days. This was on a Wednesday.

I was woken up at 7:30am on Saturday morning by my mother saying something about a parcel arriving for me. I managed to get out of bed and get it, and suddenly became wide awake with excitement. I tore open the box, and pulled out the three items I had ordered three days ago.

They were all perfect.

I was extremely happy by the efficient service provided by this site, and love nearly all of their products!
