When my granddaughter was born 22 months ago I sent my daughter a hamper of ready cooked meals from www.chefonboard.com who had been recommended to me as an excellent supplier of semi-gourmet food. I had a read of their website and was impressed that this family run business not only cooked their food freshly by hand in individual portions, but also source all their meat and poultry locally with emphasis being placed on the fact that they deal only in free range chickens who are slaughtered and dressed on the farm where they live to save the extra stress on the birds through transportation.
