Just a quick note to let everyone know that as of 1st of July 2009 Ciao.com will be merging with Microsofts new search engine BING as a result the US version of Ciao will no longer be available on the old domain. If you are an active member and review on this site then i suggest you log on immediately and request a payment as after today 17th June 2009 they will not be crediting any monies for reviews or rates etc. There is information regarding US members who will be credited their monies however no mention of what they will do regarding their worldwide community. There is a generic letter for all Ciao.com members available for every member to view at the point of log-on which explains all. I would suggest reading this as soon as possible. All reviews will be lost after the first of July so you are advised to get copies of those that you have written and wish to keep and save them. The new merger does sound interesting however i have not heard of it up until today so am unable to comment further. Sorry i cant be a bit more helpful regarding this matter however i would not like to think that UK members would be missing out on any payments that are owed to them. If anyone has any further information regarding this particularly in relation to payments for UK members then i would certainly be interested to hear from them.

You will not need to make a payment request yourself; we are doing this for you. You should receive your last payments between mid-July and mid-August 2009."
