Ciao Surveys

Another survey site review...you guys must think I have way too much time on my hands! Ciao Surveys is run by a company called Greenfield Online, which is based in the states. It operates worldwide, and the survey site available to us in the UK is written in proper English and states prices in sterling, so I assume it is exclusive. The website is not very attractive, and lacks colour. There are three main screens that you use: Survey Centre, Rewards Centre and Help Centre. In my bid to make a bit of extra cash, I've signed up to a few survey sites, one of them being Ciao surveys. It works in the same way as most survey sites, you take surveys and get some kind of reward. On Ciao you can go on the site to take the surveys or you get emailed some. I took all the profile surveys, which are supposed to help get you more surveys. They offer rewards from 10p, the most I've been paid is £1.50. Ive been a member of Ciao now for at least a year and I have to say they are absolute rubbish! You have to make at least five pounds before you can redeem a payment and I'm only just close to that now after being on there for about a year. Ciao send you surveys for various amounts of money and once you have completed them you get the money added to your Ciao account. The only way they can pay you is via pay pal which can be a bit of trouble of you don't (like myself) have a pay pal account. Being a teenager not easily able to get a job (as parents work long hours and I am not yet qualified to drive a car), I started to look around for ways to earn a bit of extra cash. I came across Ciao surveys whilst consulting Martin, my online money saving expert. There is a whole page on his website (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/) which tells you about ways to earn a little bit more money. Ciao is the worst survey site I have signed up to, and I am a member of quite a few. I signed up to it, and answered the usual profiling questions so they could supposedly send me relevant surveys. I then received regular (several a week) email survey invites. I attempted almost every one I was sent and never once managed to complete a survey so earned nothing whatsoever! I must have attempted dozen of surveys and spent a few hours answering the first several questions on each one before I was screened out.
