Disadvantages: Screened out of all surveys for no reward

Ciao is the worst survey site I have signed up to, and I am a member of quite a few. I signed up to it, and answered the usual profiling questions so they could supposedly send me relevant surveys. I then received regular (several a week) email survey invites. I attempted almost every one I was sent and never once managed to complete a survey so earned nothing whatsoever! I must have attempted dozen of surveys and spent a few hours answering the first several questions on each one before I was screened out.

The rewards offered for completing the survey on the email survey invites were reasonable, such as £1 for a 20 minute survey. However when I was screened out of that survey I was then invited to take part in further surveys, and these rewards were ridiculous, such as 10p for a 20 minute survey! This happened so often it made me wonder whether the original survey invites were just a front to get people to complete other surveys for far lower rewards.

In my experience there is absolutely no reason to bother with ciao when there are so many better survey sites out there, where you can actually earn money.

Summary: Sign up to some good survey sites and don't waste your time on ciao
