Take this as a warning, NEVER, EVER waste your money on footwear from this appalling company. Never trust a company with a premium rate 0871 phone number that costs you to talk to 'Customer Service'. And if ever there was a misuse of the title 'Customer Service' then it is by this dreadful company.

My brother-in-law ordered a pair of Samuel Windsor 'Torino' boots from their, wait for it...'Prestige Collection'. Made by crafstmen who are so proud of their work they sent 2 left boots! Great if you have 2 left feet...my brother-in-law doesn't. So proud in fact that the supposed 'craftsman' even include a signed certificate with a signature that is nothing more than a squiggely line. I've seen 4 of these worthless certificates, and all the signatures are illegible. When a replacement pair were requested, we were told that this style was no longer available. But wait a minute...these boots are 'hand made'? Surely one of the so called craftsman with the wavy signature could cobble (no pun intended) a pair together for him? Unfortunately 'not possible' we were told, so a different style was ordered. I won't go into detail now, just suffice to say that I have never seen such astonishingly poor quality on a product that supposedly has an unbelievable rrp of £115. If this is hand made, then give me something made by machine every time. I recently bought a pair of Chelsea boots from a budget retail chain called Primark, £18 reduced to £10 in their sale and the quality, compared with the Samuel Windsor item, is 110% better.

So, if you decide, in a moment of madness, to buy from this company, remember I warned you when you're trying to deal with Customer Services! And I have more to say about this, so please watch this space.
